Woman in a black dress sitting on a stool, smiling warmly

Hi, I’m Jessica.

As a dedicated therapist, I am passionate about supporting women through pregnancy, birth, postpartum, motherhood, and the healing process from trauma, grief, and shifts in sexual wellness. I find joy in walking alongside women across generations and seasons of life, honoring their unique journeys and empowering them to embrace transformation in both body and mind.

Seeking therapy is an act of courage—a step toward prioritizing yourself and challenging misconceptions about seeking support. Life, motherhood, and healing are deeply personal, non-linear paths. You don’t have to navigate them alone.

Whether you’re addressing the emotional complexities of pregnancy and postpartum, healing from trauma or grief, navigating changes in sexual wellness and intimacy, or seeking to connect with your maternal intuition, I am here to support you. Together, we will cultivate resilience, foster self-compassion, and create meaningful change that aligns with your authentic self. Let’s work together to create a life filled with balance, connection, and healing.

Why Intuitively Well?

Embracing Intuitively Well was a personal revelation for me that occurred during my pregnancy with my second daughter. In a world often filled with noise and external advice, I found my center by trusting my inner wisdom. Through my own struggles and triumphs, I realized that tuning into my intuition was key to making choices that truly nurtured my mental and emotional well-being.

Now, I'm here to guide you on a similar journey – to help you discover the profound strength that comes from tapping into your own intuitive compass for a balanced and fulfilling life.

Welcome to the path of Intuitively Well.

Modalities I Use

  • Narrative Therapy helps you explore the stories you tell about yourself and your experiences, allowing you to reshape them in a way that fosters empowerment and healing.

This approach recognizes that our identities are shaped by the narratives we carry, encouraging you to separate yourself from problems and view them from a new, more compassionate perspective. By rewriting your story, you can reclaim your strengths, values, and personal growth.

  • Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy helps you understand and harmonize the different parts of your personality. It's like managing a family within yourself, where each part has its own thoughts and feelings.

By building a relationship with these parts and embracing them with kindness, you can achieve healing and transformation. This fosters a balanced inner landscape, empowering you to navigate challenges and make choices aligned with your true self.

  • Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) is a toolbox for managing emotions and improving relationships. It blends acceptance and change, helping you find balance and resilience in life's challenges.

DBT emphasizes the integration of acceptance and change, encouraging you to accept yourself and your circumstances while actively working toward positive transformation.

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a evidence-based method focusing on the connections between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. It's like investigating your mind's operations to improve your overall well-being.

CBT helps you identify and challenge negative thought patterns, acting as your own mental detective. By doing so, you often uncover more balanced perspectives.

Ultimately, CBT involves understanding and altering these connections for better mental health and life outcomes, akin to rewiring your thinking for positivity.

  • Creative Mindfulness & Expressive Arts combine poetry, meditation, art, movement, and somatic practices to create a healing sanctuary.

This approach encourages emotional exploration through various outlets, promoting self-discovery and well-being. These holistic tools help to reduce stress, navigate emotions, and enrich your life.

I particularly enjoy using these tools to strengthen body image, work through perfectionism, deepen understand of sexuality, and help you find your identity within motherhood.

  • EMDR, or Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, is a therapeutic method crafted to assist individuals in processing and healing from distressing or traumatic experiences. It's especially useful for those who still feel upset or troubled by these experiences.

Think of your mind like a filing cabinet. When something traumatic happens, it's like that memory gets stuck in a messy and upsetting form within the cabinet. This can lead to feeling upset, anxious, and other symptoms. EMDR aims to help organize and put together these memories so they become less upsetting and more manageable.

EMDR emerges as a potent tool for healing, offering a pathway to finding relief from the emotional impact of past experiences.

A little about me…

  • I’m a mom of three and my favorite motherhood uniform to wear is sweats, comfy socks, and an oversized sweatshirt.

  • When I was deciding my career path, I almost chose to become an esthetician because I love all things self-care and facials. I’m so glad I chose to be a therapist instead and I often treat myself to monthly facials.

  • I grew up playing with dolls and barbies which I adored fiercely. As I got older, I still hoarded Polly Pockets while playing sports. I played softball my entire life which eventually paid for me to go to college and get my associate degree!

  • I love traveling and creating new adventures with my family. I love big cities and finding all the hole-in-the-wall restaurants that have the most delicious hidden gems.

  • I love baking all kinds of treats and will not give up on learning how to make my next loaf of sourdough even tastier.

  • If I had unlimited money, I would have a house on the Cliffs in San Francisco, Boston, Hawaii, and a homestead on the East Coast with a cow named Minnie, dozens of chickens, and a lake.

  • I absolutely love shopping for clothes and shoes… it will probably always be my favorite stress reliever.

  • I find a tremendous amount of joy in rom-coms and ridiculous memes.
